Food and Cornwall Systems Leadership Conference Wednesday 30 April 2014, Cornwall College, St Austell

On 30th April 2014 Food and Cornwall held a conference at Cornwall College, St Austell. The conference was the culmination of over 8 months work, working together using a systems leadership approach to consider food poverty. The aim of the conference was to plan the next steps into the future to create food wealth so that no-one in Cornwall goes hungry.

The conference was attended by 80 people who had an interest in the programme. These ‘food activists’ were a cross section of people ranging from Cabinet Members, representatives of the Council and public health, local businesses and voluntary organisations, representatives of the Local Nature Partnership (LNP) and Local Economic Partnership (LEP) and people who had first-hand experience of food poverty.

It was a truly great day and you can read all about the success of the conference by reading our Food and Cornwall Conference Report
