The Casserole Club

The Casserole Club is all about home cooked food, made by neighbours, for neighbours.

Many people are not always able to cook for themselves; Casserole Club helps people share their extra portions of home-cooked food with those who could really benefit with a hot cooked meal.

Just like a community led, local take-away service, the members of the Casserole Club deliver their own home-cooked food to neighbours in the area; this gets more people eating and cooking fresh meals but also strengthens local relationships and gives a sense of community.

The Casserole Club is a simple process to use:

Sign up:

Firstly you register as a cook on the Casserole website, to register to must undertake a short safeguarding process and must read through their food hygiene presentation and take a quiz before being able to serve up a meal.

Meet a diner/Arrange a meal:

Secondly you choose a diner and introduce yourself online; you can then phone them up to arrange sharing a meal with them.

Deliver the meal:

On the day you have arranged to cook for your chosen diner cook an extra portion of food in your own home and deliver this to your diner.

The Casserole Club works alongside local organisations to help reach Diners in need of a hot cooked meal, but they also take referrals directly from friends and relatives.
